A Sustainable Approach To Furnishing The Office

A recent evaluation of our role as commercial furniture dealers within the industry was prompted when my son returned from a school’s strike for climate and asked me what Salt & Pegram are doing to avert the crisis. I didn’t know what to say. Sure, our expertise means that we have a deep knowledge of some of the amazing pieces of furniture being made from recycled materials, using materials that can then be used again and again.  We are, however, essentially supplying projects with new furniture. We looked at different business models but concluded that our knowledge and experience meant that we are in the perfect position to advise clients with a hunger to limit their impact. A shift in perspective has seen a growth in our supply chain that can provide reused system and loose furniture (including 20th century classics and vintage), companies that recondition old furniture and give them a new lease of life, manufacturers with a commitment to the circular economy and lastly, to the disposal and reuse of our clients’ unwanted furniture.

Sustain and Preserve was born.

Using our industry leading expertise we have created a network of used furniture suppliers, skilled up-cyclers and refurbishment specialists and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises hungry for your unwanted chairs and tables.

Combined with our experience and passion for supplying furniture to some of the most prestigious projects in the UK we take our customers on a journey from audit of existing furniture, concept and budget planning to installation and completion.
